Kate Moss, the new face of Alexander McQueen

The supermodel Kate Moss has just been cast as the new face of Alexander McQueen's spring/summer 2014 campaign which was inspired by the British 60's thriller movie "Peeping Tom". Dressed in a modern warrior garb (designed by Sarah Burton), Kate Moss poses in a sinister dark background; she is seen with a small doll which replicates her own look and style. The photographer, Steven Klein, did also a short thriller video in which Kate enters a desolate house, she is filmed as if somebody is watching her. The campaign is very exciting, can't wait to see the collection! The inspiration is very interesting and unique.

Quick look at the 2014 Grammys dresses

This year, no shocking outfits! The celebrities played it safe and classy; so in global, there were chic and elegant gowns. Personally, I prefer when stars take risks, and wear unique pieces that blow us away. In my opinion, this year, the gowns were maybe too simple for the Grammys, but it doesn't mean they weren't beautiful!

Katy Perry wore a Velentino Couture. The gown reflects her pesonality and her passion for music, it also reflects her fairy image that she likes to show in all her outfits.

Beyonce wore a Michael Costello white dress that fits her perfectly; I love everything about that dress, definitely my favorite!

Rita Ora in Lanvin. She played it safe, but the look is elegant and beautiful.

Madonna in a Ralph Lauren tuxedo. Not very suprising for Madonna, always true to her showgirl look and powerful women image.

Taylor Swift wore Gucci. I didn't really like the total look, maybe because I was expecting more from her; I feel this time, it was too classic, especially for the Grammys awards.

Pink in Johanna Johnson. I didn't like the dress at all! I think the shape of the dress doesn't suit her; her body dosen't look good in it, she should have wear a dress that fits better her morphology.

Ciara in Pucci. I love the way the dress suit her skin. In general, the outfit is glamorous and elegant.

Alicia Keys wore Armani Prive. It's simple, but classy and sexy at the same time.

Paris couture fashion week 2014

Couture fashion week is almost done; there has been a lot of amazing fashion shows in Paris like Chanel, Valentino, Jean Paul Gaultier, Elie Saab, Gucci etc. The focus was mainly on the creativity; the designers did their best to make us discover the art of fashion on the spring/summer 2014 collections.

These pictures are taken from Jean Paul Gaultier spring 2014 couture. The fashion show was very fairy, mainly inspired by butterflies as the designer explained "Life is a butterfly! So all the collection is that." The defile was very interesting because the inspiration is very simple, and based on this idea, he created a collection that suits his own world which is practically showgirls and divas (dark butterflies, corsets...).

One of my favorites, Elie Saab! It's maybe not very crazy for the couture fashion week, but as usual, the designer knows how to turn simplicity into perfection. The collection is pretty, glamorous and chic. Here, the inspiration is obviously flowers, we can feel the freshness and softness of the spring.

Couture fashion week is also full of surprises; for the spring/summer 2014 collection, Karl Lagerfeld decided to focus more on sporty accessories. In fact, we see sneakers, elbow pads, knee pads and fanny pads in this haute couture collection. Even with the punk sporty style, the outfits are still chic and elegant!
