Hayden Williams is a talented, English fashion illustrator, he creates amazing designs; I'm basically his biggest fan, and very happy for his latest collaboration with the iconic Kate Moss, for the cosmetic brand Rimmel London; "it's a definite highlight in (his) growing career".  The drawings are just awesome, he represented Kate's Boho look, Hippy Deluxe look, Summer Rock look, and The Gig look. The new collection "Idol Eyes" is already available in stores! Personally, I care more about the drawings than the makeup, I admire Williams' work, and recommend you to visit his account on instagram, the sketches are just breathtaking!  

 

 

Beirut Designers' Week

I wanted to write this post a couple of days ago, but I am very busy this month with my final exams, always studying! Anyway, let's talk about fashion; there's a design exhibition in Zaitunay Bay (Lebanon), from May 09 to May 12. A lot of Lebanese designers are exposing their work (womenswear, accessories...) from 3PM to 10PM, celebrating Beirut designers' week. Support Lebanese creators and visit the exhibition, tomorrow is the last day!

 

 

 

Met Gala 2014

We've seen a big variety of styles and colors on the red carpet yesterday, but the theme (Charles James) wasn't really respected. In general, I was a bit disappointed, the celebrities didn't take risks in their choices, a lot wore cropped-tops with long skirts, or the classic coupe ciraine... I was expecting more ball gowns, more vintage looks. Last year, there were some interesting and daring choices with the punk theme; but this year, the gowns were beautiful but very modern-classic. I was hoping to see some old Hollywood glamour, 50's fashion according to the theme, princess gowns...
