Met Gala 2014, what to expect?

After last year's "Punk: Chaos to couture", the Met Gala is back with an amazing new theme, "Charles James: Beyond fashion"; what a great choice to celebrate 50's fashion and honor this legendary couturier, who has revolutionized  the world of fashion with his breathtaking ball gowns. Charles James designed an important variety of silhouettes, always pushing the boundaries of creativity. His gowns are unique; till now, he is recognized and admired for his exceptional and incredible taste. It's a real honor for the Metropolitan Museum of art to expose James' ball gowns. The dress code for the event, is eventually vintage ball gowns, with the gloves and the rest of the accessories; and for men, back tailcoat and of course a white bow tie. Can't wait to see the celebrities' gowns, it's going to be royal. I'll be posting the best and worst red carpet dresses, stay up to date!
Here's some Charles James' designs, for you to get an idea of Monday's theme.
