Because winter is all about style

I am more than excited for winter this year! I have many ideas of outfits that I would like to share with you for this season. Follow your inspiration and have fun with the materials and colors. Match wool with prints, denim or even silk. Don't be afraid to wear a lot of details and different shapes as long as you are stylish and comfortable.
Here are some ideas of outfits and of course don't hesitate to ask me questions and tips about style and shops!

Obsession of the season

Definitely my season's fashion crush, capes are the ultimate secret to style. Whether you're wearing pants, skirts or even shorts, whether you're attempting a formal or casual event, capes are here to place you in the world of fashion. Preferably wool, the item is super cozy and comfortable, and sophisticated at the same time; it depends on how you wear it. For example, if you have a fancy dinner, you can match your cape with a little black dress and your favorite heels, and for the fancy part of course a generous necklace or some big earrings. The outfit is elegant, classy and different from the usual black coat. Also, if you have a casual lunch or even a gym class, capes can directly style the outfit without trying too much. It's really an everyday item, very practical and easy to wear.

Don't miss the hat

Every time I think about the next season or I imagine some winter outfits, I directly think about classy feminine hats. I am not talking about beanies or turbans but real wool hats that guarantee a woman's elegance. I don't know about you, but I personally am very excited to rock hats! I think it's the perfect accessorize of the season, you can wear it with anything, all occasions included whether it's casual or formal. And let's not forget that they are also amazing at hiding morning messy hair. I recommend wool hats and for the color something somber of course like black, gray, kaki, bordeaux... And for those who think they don't have a "hat face" it's really not true, you just have to find the model that suits you best (with the help of a professional). Hats in winter are like sunglasses in summer, it gives automatically a sophisticated style, chic, classy and mostly elegant.
I picked out some hats from different stores to give you some ideas and maybe inspire you.

Emmys Beauties

This year the red carpet welcomed glamour in color for the Emmys awards. Red was surprisingly the new black and most seen color of the night. Celebrities seemed to be very comfortable and relaxed in sophisticated gowns. I loved the diversity of materials and textures like tulle, silk and even velvet. Personally, I don't think there were fashion disasters this time, the stars were all tasteful and chic. My favorite look was Allison Williams' in Giambattista Valli, her fancy princess gown was stunning and I love the mix of old and modern fashion it's like a "modern vintage" piece. Julia Roberts was also breath-taking on the red carpet, her dynamic and positive attitude embellished her Elie Saab dress; she was really the confirmation of "Happy girls are the prettiest".
Here are most of the Emmys looks, enjoy, criticize and don't forget to share your opinion.
