Western bandanas in the club

After spotting them during New York fashion week, western bandanas became the new hit trend. I was surprised to see them in all kind of stores, from Zara to Tara Jarmon.
You can choose the classic or vintage models:

...or you can go for innovation with revisited western bandanas,

Personally, I prefer the modern revisited bandanas because they are more stylish and easier to wear and match. You can wear them with simple, fancy or formal clothes. The traditional western bandanas are a bit difficult because they are very casual and specific to a particular style.
There are so many ways to rock bandanas, you can wear them on the head or around your neck, but this season the real trend is to wear them the "cowboy way".

Grammys 2015

This year, the red carpet was really divided between fashion beauties and fashion catastrophes. I was really amazed by Taylor Swift and Rihanna's choices. They decided to wear daring colors and unique numbers. However personally I thought most stars had bad fashion moments. I don't usually play the 'fashionpolice' game but some looks were really unacceptable this year. Here are my favorite and worse gowns of the night.

Fashion beauties:

 Rihanna in Giambattista
Valli

 Taylor Swift in Elie Saab

Jessie J in Ralph & Russo

 Meghan Trainor in Galia Lahav

Kat Graham in Yanina

 Fashion catastrophes:

 CharliXCX in Moschino

 Ciara in Alexandre Vauthier

 Rita Ora

 Gina Rodriguez

 Zendaya in Vivienne Westwood

Madonna in Givenchy

Feminin/Masculin

Owning some masculine items or a feminin/masculin outfit is a must have in the closet. Dressing like a man in our society is unfortunately one of the rare ways to prove the equality between both sex and to confirm our place and position. The feminine/masculine outfit also assures elegance and class (all occasions included). I call it the joker look because it can also be sexy and glamour. This look can be adopted through many ways. You can play it really classy with a chic suit or add your little personal style with some specific elements. There are some key items that you should include in your outfits. The jacket is crucial. It may be a simple word but trust me it is the master piece of the look. The material and model don’t matter, you can choose a beautiful black coat or a stylish denim piece. Also, hats are very important to give a masculine and sophisticated look. As long as you got at least one of these two elements, the rest is quiet easy. Just make sure to balance between feminine and masculine items. For example, compensate the suit with a pair of beautiful heels.

Here are some symbolic masculine and feminine elements that you can match in your outfit.

Masculine items :

  • Boyfriend jeans
  • Suits
  • Masculine hats
  • Brogues (shoes)
  • Backpacks
  • Vintage cartables
  • Masculine sunglasses
  • Oversized coats
  • Oversized denim jackets
  • Leather gloves
  • Bow ties
  • Masculine shirts

Feminine items to compensate:

  • High heels
  • Handbags
  • Big earrings
  • Colorful scarves
  • Clutches
  • Necklaces
  • Dresses

Marant accused of copying Adidas

Shocking news, Adidas accuses French designer Isabel Marant for copying one the American company's biggest success: the Stan Smiths shoes. If we compare both designs, I think the similitude is clear. Marant's Bart low-tops are white and also have the red tabs at the heel. We still don’t have much information on Adidas' case for copyright and the future of Marant's reputation worldwide. Although, I am a huge fan of the French designer, I have to admit, the sneakers are really similar.

Golden Globes 2015: Best dressed

No fashion disasters this year except for Lana Del Rey unfortunately, celebrities chose to play it safe and secure with elegant and classy gowns. I have to admit, I am a bit disappointed because they didn't take  a lot of risks in their choices. I prefer when they reveal their unique sense of style and set the fashion bar high. These are my favorite looks of the night, and if I have to pick only one dress, I would choose the amazing Zuhair Murad gown on Jennifer Lopez. The total look was risky, glamour and super sexy.

Dakota Johnson in Chanel

Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad

 Leslie Mann in Kaufmanfranco

Julianne Moorein in Givenchy

Behati Prinsloo

Emma Stone in Lanvin

 Amy Adams in Versace

 Amal Clooney in Dior

Sienna Miller in Miu Miu

Naomi Watts in Gucci
